Memorial gifts and funds

"When my mother died I felt the need to see a little good come from the grief I was feeling. Mum was a grafter and was always there to help people so it made sense to ask family and friends to donate money to Jeevika, a charity that values the importance of livelihood when it comes to tackling poverty in rural India. It's comforting to know that the money we raised for Jeevika will bring a little dignity back to those less fortunate."
Cleve West who has his friends and family to donate in memory of his mother, Yvette

Marking the life of a loved one or marking a special event by setting up a Jeevika Memorial Fund is a lasting tribute that can continue to grow and help our work for years to come.

If you choose to set up a Jeevika Memorial Fund, whether it’s to pay tribute to the life of a loved one or to mark a special event such as an important birthday or a company centenary, Jeevika Trust will set up your own individual page so that you, your friends, family and colleagues can contribute, once, twice or as many times as you like and watch your fund grow.  You can ask for your money to go to a particular type of project, such as women’s income generation, or you can just leave it for us to decide where we feel your gifts will have the greatest impact.  Wherever your money goes, we will send you regular updates on our work and let you know what we’re doing – you are even able to go and visit your project if your fund raises over £1000.

You can make it a one off or give on a regular basis, you may want to give each year to remember a date; however you choose to support your Jeevika Memorial Fund, we will work with you every step of the way to ensure your memories are lasting ones.

If you would like more information about our Jeevika Memorial Funds, please email info@jeevika.org.uk.  Alternatively, to set up your own memorial page now, please visit our memorial site.
