Other partners
Alongside our work with Schumacher Centre for Development, Jeevika Trust works with other carefully selected grassroots NGOs to benefit from their deep knowledge of local village communities and their field experience. At the same time, where appropriate, we help them to build their own organisational and project delivery capacity. All of our partner organisations have strong links to the most disadvantaged Scheduled Caste, Tribal and Dalit village communities – women in particular – and are engaged in livelihood projects which assist access to safe water, help for families living with HIV/AIDs, and improvement of household income and, as a result, nutrition, food security, health and hygiene are also improved.
